About Us

The CrimCheck Ltd service is provided by a not-for-profit organisation to benefit other not-for-profits. Any surplus we make is returned to the community. We don’t just understand the sector, we’re part of it.

Accurate background screening is an essential component of the employee and volunteer recruitment process. Unfortunately, the traditional process for obtaining criminal history checks has proven to be time consuming.

Too often, the delay leads to the loss of a potential new staff member or volunteer and in some cases a decision to overlook the checking process in favour of a speed appointment which can lead to problems at a later time. We are an Australian Criminal intelligence Commission (ACIC) Accredited Agency (Broker).

Organisations choosing to use CrimCheck Ltd as their provider of criminal history checks will receive:

  • An easy to use web-based system with comprehensive training
  • High Quality and friendly telephone and email support (plus onsite visits, where required)
  • Fast turnaround of results
  • Effortless pre-payment systems to reduce administrative burdens and costs
  • Detailed progress tracking and reports
  • Regular informative e-newsletters outlining relevant information to assist your organisation
  • As a not-for-profit subsidiary company of South East Volunteers, CrimCheck Ltd has extensive experience supporting the needs of community-based organisations and is pleased to invest funds back into the community.

  • "Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with CrimCheck so far, have had our first two training sessions and it has been so much quicker and easier than our old method. The online portal is very user friendly and we have already started receiving checks back (we used to wait 4-6 weeks)."
